E 11° 16' - ALTITUDE: +130 m. - VOCALIZATION TYPE: contact calls. - SEX/AGE: adult female. - COMMENT: The spectrograms show 3 call types, whose remarkable difference cannot be easily appreciated by ear. Only three recordings revealed at least six different call types. Background: wing beats of goldcrests and crossbills subsong (far). It then alights on the ground along the trail. - POSITION: Orbetello Lagoon, LAT. N. 42,4256°/LONG. E 11,2679° - ALTITUDE: 0 m. - VOCALIZATION TYPE: various call types. - SEX/AGE: adult female. - COMMENT: The bird feeds calmly, pecking at the bare sandy soil, then catches a flying insect with a short flight before landing again on the trail.
