E 11 33' - ALTITUDE: +1100 m. - VOCALIZATION TYPE: full song - SEX/AGE: adult male - COMMENT: Time interval between phrases has been reduced in the audio sample (background: woodlark). This male seems singing in competition with a neighbour cirl bunting (see 2nd spectrogram). It sings two different phrase types in this song bout. The second type is sung in two slightly different ways: compare the 1st and 3rd spectrograms and note that they are composed by respectively 9 and 10 syllables. Time interval between phrases has been reduced in the spectrogram, but not in the audio sample. The ortolan buntings of Mount Labbro are a small residual population of less than 10 pairs.
